Will Ferrell

My absolute favorite actor in the entire world is WILL FERRELL! I love him. You have to have this comedic sense of humor to love his movies though. There are a lot of his movies with “guy” humor too, so you have to understand that. One of my all time favorite Will Ferrell movies is A Night at the Roxburry. It’s relatively old, but I love it. His co-star is really funny in that movie as well. I also love Step Brothers, Talladega Nights, and Elf. Anchorman is a new one for me, but the parts I’ve seen and remember I absolutely love.

Step Brother is one of the funniest movies. I quote it all the time, and it seems like every conversation I have with someone I can use a quote in the movie. There are times when scenes say “That’s what she said” moments, but there is also little kid moments about who can have this special concocted “fancy” sauce.

A Night at the Roxburry is my all time favorite because it is one of the oldest movies Will Ferrell is in, and no one really knows about it. There are a lot of phrases that I quote, but not nearly as many as Step Brothers. It’s also funny because the two main characters wear really awkward, tight outfits that do not fit them well. There’s this one scene where they are both walking on the beach in skimpy speedos and they are trying to pick up girls. The pick-up lines are the funniest I’ve ever heard. In one scene Will Ferrell tries to talk as if there is an ambulance there. He makes a really loud siren noise and then says, “It’s the ambulance, coming to get me. Cuz the sight of you stopped my heart.” There are also points in the movie where the two brothers are trying to get into a bunch of different clubs and uses different moves on each club. Every time the two are not allowed in, but they keep trying. They must stand in about 10 lines, just to get rejected again and again. They also do this really interesting and memorable head dance while listening to the song, “What is Love?” After this scene Will Ferrell’s co-star bangs his head and shatters the glass window on the passenger’s side. For all that have seen this movie, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

And of course, I have to quote all of the other Will Ferrell movies, like the popular Talladega Nights or even on some terms, I’m pretty sure I’ve quoted Blades of Glory (yet another one of his movies). Will Ferrell is one of those actors that people either love or hate. Well, there are also people that don’t watch movies and have no idea who he is. But those people don’t count. I love his sense of humor, and most of the time I quote phrases from his movies because I have a personality somewhat like his characters. No I’m not a middle-aged man pretending to be a kid, or is acting like one. I do come off as a not so girly girl though, making me have that sense of humor. It shows as I am pretty much a tom-boy. But I guess I can dress up at times too. But anyways, yea I love Will Ferrell and I get so excited when movies come out with him in it because most of the time they are hilarious and awesome. Comedies are my favorite type of movie, if you couldn’t tell.
